1. Plain-language summary
No Buy does not operate a user-account system, cloud-sync service, advertising service, or app behavioral-data backend. Your plans, pauses, reflections, goals, selected product photos, and shopping-protection selection are stored in the app’s local containers.
The website uses Vercel Web Analytics for anonymous, aggregated traffic statistics. Apple handles App Store billing, and RevenueCat processes limited subscription and purchase information so No Buy can determine whether Premium access is active. If you contact support, the operator will receive the information you choose to include in that message.
2. Activity stored on your device
The following information may be created when you use No Buy. It is stored locally for app functionality and personalization and is not sent to a No Buy behavioral-data server.
Profile, onboarding, and preferences
- Your chosen display name.
- Shopping temptations, onboarding progress, recovery start date, and commitment or plan-preparation completion dates.
- Your goal, optional custom goal, target amount and date, currency, recorded amount kept, and waiting-rule preferences.
- Notification authorization status, challenges, milestones, and other app-state preferences.
No Buy may ask you to draw a commitment signature or use your saved name during onboarding. The drawn strokes and typed-signature state are not persisted; the app stores only the relevant commitment completion date.
Purchase pauses and product details
- Item name, entered amount, currency, category, motivation, optional product URL, and optional selected photo.
- Pause creation and end times, decision status and date, decision reason or note, later urge intensity, and any entered amount applied toward your goal.
- Content you explicitly share to No Buy, which may include text, a URL, an image, an inferred product name, price, currency, source hostname, and suggested wait duration.
Shared-product drafts are kept in the app’s shared local container while No Buy imports or clears them. A saved product URL is not a record of your general browsing history.
Urge support and recovery activity
- Urge trigger or custom trigger, intensity, chosen action or outcome, reset duration, purchase-pause duration, and whether grounding was completed.
- Recovery-plan triggers, custom trigger or response text, durations, enabled state, usage history, and optional helpfulness ratings.
- Slip reflections, progress activity dates, and aggregate decision or challenge counts.
Information No Buy does not access
The current app has no bank connection and does not inspect transactions, retailer accounts, contacts, precise location, microphone, camera, or your full photo library. No Buy never stores your payment-card details. Amounts shown as kept toward a goal are based on what you record; the app does not transfer money or verify savings.
3. Permissions, Screen Time, and app extensions
Shopping App Protection
If you choose Shopping App Protection, No Buy asks Apple’s Family Controls framework for individual Screen Time authorization. Apple provides privacy-preserving application tokens for apps you select. No Buy stores those opaque tokens and local protection state so Apple’s Managed Settings and Device Activity frameworks can show a shield and manage temporary access.
No Buy does not receive the selected apps’ names or bundle identifiers and does not collect browsing history, shopping history, or general Screen Time usage. The app intentionally keeps only individual application selections; app-category and website selections are not used.
When you choose temporary access from a No Buy shield, the app stores the relevant opaque token and expiration timing in its shared local container long enough to restore protection. Choosing “Pause Instead” stores a short-lived local routing request so No Buy can open the urge-support flow.
Notifications
If you grant notification permission, No Buy schedules local alerts, badges, and sounds for purchase-pause endings, short reset completion, and recovery milestones. No Buy does not register your device with a No Buy push-notification server.
Photos and shared content
The system photo picker gives No Buy access only to an image you select. The Share extension receives only the text, URL, or image you explicitly share from another app. Images are resized and saved locally as product references.
Messages
If “Message someone I trust” is part of your recovery plan, No Buy asks iOS to open the Messages app. No Buy does not read your contacts or messages, choose a recipient, or learn whether a message was sent.
4. Subscriptions, Apple, and RevenueCat
Apple processes App Store purchases, payment details, subscription billing, cancellation, and refunds. No Buy does not receive or store your full payment-card information.
No Buy uses RevenueCat to load available subscription plans, complete and restore purchases, and determine whether the “No Buy Pro” entitlement is active. The app configures RevenueCat without a custom account identifier, so RevenueCat creates an anonymous App User ID.
RevenueCat may process that anonymous identifier, Apple receipt or purchase history, subscription and entitlement status, last-seen information, and limited technical information such as device type, operating system, locale, and app version. No Buy does not send your display name, goals, reflections, product photos, product drafts, saved URLs, or Screen Time selection to RevenueCat.
RevenueCat uses purchase history for receipt validation, entitlement functionality, fraud prevention, and subscription analytics such as customer history and charts. Subscription information may be processed in the United States or other places where RevenueCat and its providers operate.

5. Website access and support messages
The current No Buy website code does not include user accounts, an embedded contact form, advertising pixels, or non-essential cookies. It uses Vercel Web Analytics to measure anonymous, aggregated page views and understand information such as popular pages, referring sites, approximate location, browser, operating system, and device type. Vercel Web Analytics does not use cookies or track a visitor across different days or websites.
Vercel hosts the website and provides Web Analytics. It may process ordinary request information such as IP address, browser or device details, requested pages, referrers, and timestamps to deliver and protect the site and produce aggregated traffic statistics. Vercel creates a daily visitor hash from request information for analytics and does not expose an individual visitor’s IP address in the analytics dashboard. Learn more in Vercel’s Web Analytics privacy documentation and Vercel’s Privacy Notice.
If you email kevicy24@gmail.com, the operator and Google, which provides the Gmail service, may receive your email address, name, message, and any information or attachments you choose to send. That information is used to answer the request, maintain service security, comply with law, and keep an appropriate support record. Support correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably needed for those purposes.
7. Your choices and deletion controls
- You can skip or later revoke notifications in iOS Settings.
- You can skip Shopping App Protection, change selected apps, turn protection off in No Buy, or revoke Screen Time authorization through iOS.
- You decide whether to add a product photo, URL, note, custom trigger, or shared product.
- You can remove the local activity listed below with No Buy’s activity-deletion control.
Delete activity data
In No Buy, Settings → Privacy & your data → Delete activity data permanently removes purchase pauses and saved product photos, pending shared-product imports, urge check-ins, personal recovery plans, slip reflections, challenge and milestone progress, the amount recorded toward your goal, your saved display name, commitment and plan-preparation checkpoints, and related local notifications. Your recovery date restarts on the deletion date.
This control intentionally keeps your selected temptations, goal choice and target, default waiting rule, shopping-protection selection and state, notification authorization, and Apple/RevenueCat subscription status. It is therefore an activity-deletion control, not an account-deletion or universal erasure control. No Buy has no user account to delete.
Requests concerning external subscription records
Privacy requests concerning Apple billing should be directed through Apple’s available controls. For questions concerning RevenueCat records, email kevicy24@gmail.com. Information sufficient to locate an anonymous subscription record may be required.
8. Security and regional rights
Security
No Buy relies on iOS app sandboxing, Apple’s App Group protections, opaque Screen Time tokens, and secure network transport used by Apple and RevenueCat. Reasonable safeguards reduce risk but no storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Keep your device passcode and Apple Account secure.
Regional privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or information about processing, and to object or withdraw consent where applicable. Email kevicy24@gmail.com to make a privacy request. Exercising a legal right will not result in discriminatory treatment where prohibited by law.
9. Changes and contact
This policy may change when No Buy’s features, service providers, or legal obligations change. Material updates should be posted here with a revised “Last updated” date and, where required, an additional in-app notice.
